A Little About Us

ChemoDiva was founded by Kelly Robertson and Garnet Finnegan with purpose and intent. "It is truly our desire to share what we know with you so that you can step out with confidence and carry on with some sort of "normalcy" even when things aren't exactly normal. How you see yourself on the outside, definitely affects how you're feeling on the inside."

Garnet, a cancer survivor, knows exactly how devastating hair-loss can be, having experienced it first-hand.  "Cancer and the results of treatment isn't any fun, but you eventually come to a point where you have to accept it and figure out a way to make the best of it".  After surgery, Garnet did exactly that: During chemo and radiation, she kept working full-time, only missing hours for doctor's appointments; co-workers constantly remarked that Garnet always kept a smile and her great sense-of-humor (she's really funny!), along with a positive attitude, even when they could see that she wasn't feeling so great. After her hair loss, Garnet made shopping for a wig and hats fun and knew that taking care of her skin (and lips) was no longer an option due to the extreme dryness she experienced as a result of treatment. And, once her eyebrows and eyelashes disappeared, she saw that she lost her character and expression, so make-up became a must-have (she wore very little prior to cancer). Absolutely falling in love with SeneGence semi-permanent cosmetics and ultra-hydrating skin care products, Garnet became a distributor and knows that she can make a positive difference for you as all the products have for her. "Who wouldn't like make-up that's good for you, nourishes and protects your skin and doesn't come off all day?!"

Kelly has many years experience as a teacher, a professional platform instructor, mentor and coach. Combined with a life-long desire to provide service to others and her broad knowledge of cosmetics application and skin care, a partnership with Garnet using SeneGence products is a perfect match. "Garnet is a walking, talking inspiration to everyone she comes in contact with. Once you meet her, your life is forever changed; Garnet sets a perfect example of what miracles can come from a positive attitude of gratitude and she has definitely set into motion an ability to heal herself quickly with such an amazing mind-set. She has never been the victim - she's always been the victor. I'm so proud to be her friend and my association with Garnet, originally brough about through my husband, is a gift.  Paths don't cross by chance and I am blessed to have her in my life and know that together, we can make an amazing difference for everyone who is open to what we have to offer."
